Woodworking courses at Bensari Workshop are built around hands-on practice. We teach participants to work attentively with wood, use hand tools safely, and develop skills in traditional woodworking and furniture making.
Classes take place in small groups in a working furniture studio. Participants learn by doing, practising specific techniques and applying them to tasks suited to each course.
Bensari Workshop is listed in Poland’s Development Services Database (BUR). Selected courses may be eligible for funding, including through the National Training Fund (KFS), subject to the requirements of the relevant programme.
Carpentry courses at our workshop are a great opportunity to learn traditional carpentry from the ground up, learn how to work with wood and understand its beautiful nature. Each course has a very practical character, during the classes you will learn about carpentry tools and techniques, gain professional knowledge and skills so that you can develop your passion.
Hi, I’m Tom Bensari, a master woodworker and furniture designer. I founded Bensari Workshop in Wrocław, Poland, as a working furniture studio and a school of traditional woodworking.
I teach the hand-tool skills and woodworking techniques I use in my own work. In small groups of no more than six, participants learn to understand wood, work with precision, and build the skills to make their own furniture and objects.
