In June 2026, I will have the opportunity to present my work during the exhibition “Honest Craftsmanship – The Impact of Polish Heartbeat”, organised as part of 3 Days of Design 2026 in Copenhagen.

This is one of the most important events dedicated to contemporary European design and craftsmanship. The exhibition will take place inside the historic Dehn Mansion and will become one of the largest presentations of contemporary Polish design and Polish craftsmanship shown in Scandinavia to date.

During the exhibition, I will present the Jazz Bookcase from the Manhattan collection, a collectible design object originally created for a private art collector.

For many years, I have been building a practice based on a direct relationship between design, material and making. I am interested in craftsmanship understood as a contemporary design tool rooted in experience, precision and a conscious approach to process.

The Jazz Bookcase was conceived as an object for displaying art and shaping the relationship between light, architecture and surrounding space. Over time, it also began to function as an independent spatial form.

Its composition is built around rhythm, asymmetry and the dialogue between light, shadow and architectural structure. Depending on perspective and lighting conditions, the object changes visually and interacts differently with its surroundings.

These are the kinds of objects that interest me most in design. Functional forms that remain useful while also influencing the atmosphere and perception of a space.

My work moves between high craftsmanship, collectible design and contemporary furniture making. Objects signed with my name have been presented internationally, including through Studiotwentyseven in New York, and featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Robb Report and Elle Decoration France.

I am glad that contemporary Polish craftsmanship and design will be presented in such an important international context. Especially today, when conversations around design increasingly return to questions of durability, material honesty and the role of process in contemporary culture.
