Tom Bensari | Bensari Workshop | Wrocław
In the October issue of Robb Report, Tom Bensari’s Jazz Bookcase is featured among five global designs celebrating craftsmanship, light, and material refinement. Handcrafted in Poland from oak and olive wood, the piece reflects the designer’s dedication to music, precision, and timeless craft.
I’m pleased to share that my Jazz Bookcase was featured in the October edition of Robb Report, within the Shelter – Home Design section dedicated to exceptional furniture and collectible objects that merge form, precision, and artistic integrity.
The article by Rachel Gallaher, titled “5 Gold Furnishings to Give Your Living Space the Midas Touch,” presents five remarkable designs from around the world that explore the color gold — not merely as a surface treatment, but as a symbol of light, warmth, and refinement.
Alongside works by Sebastien Durelli, Luca Stefano, De La Espada, and Lucas Simões, the Jazz Bookcase represents a subtler, more natural interpretation of this golden hue.
Described as a piece that “takes on a golden tint in just the right light,” the Jazz Bookcase was entirely handcrafted in Poland as part of my Manhattan collection for the New York gallery StudioTwentySeven.
Seeing my work featured alongside such renowned designers and artisans is both humbling and deeply rewarding.
It reaffirms my belief that true craftsmanship is not about speed or fashion, but about authenticity, patience, and precision — values that define every project created in my workshop.
